Jun Tanaka, as seen on Chopped (the TV show about cooking ingredients as they come from a surprise basket). Of course, you don’t get the full effect in just photos. I don’t get turned on by English accents. I grew up with them in my family here in Canada. I don’t have much interest in Asian men. I was told women born in the Year of the Dragon were attracted to Asian men, but I think that was yet one more oddball urban legend.
For some reason the combination of Asian (Japanese) and English accent really works well. Really quite well. Jun Tanaka has a TV foodie show in the UK. Too bad it doesn’t show up here on the Canadian Food Network. I’d like to see more, hear more too.
Jun Tanaka has a cookbook out and he started a business with a friend, a food truck called Street Kitchen. However, you have to be in London (UK) to eat there.
